New York GRAMMY Career Day

Held at Pace University in New York City, GRAMMY Career Day begins with a panel of top music industry professionals titled "The Playaz." This panel will be both creative and interactive revealing the depth and versatility of the music industry and include professionals such as the managers, lawyers, publishers, A&R and marketing executives and other industry veterans.

"The Playaz" will reveal the tools of their trade and demonstrate the versatility required to succeed in an ever-changing business, introduce and bring to life the many key roles in the music industry and give a sense of the wide range of opportunities available along, with the skill sets they require.

Interactive hands-on workshops featuring professionals in specific disciplines who share the realities and challenges of their careers will follow the panel and provide an in-depth experience. Presented workshops topics will include songwriting, GRAMMY Pro Sessions DJ/remixing, GRAMMY SoundChecks, graphic design, home studio recording, songwriting critique, marketing new technology and in the studio recording.
