Dr. Scott Powell, a former member of Sha Na Na and currently an orthopedic surgeon, and MusiCares are proud to announce their partnership in the creation of the Pierre Cossette Center at the offices of Stetson Powell Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Burbank, Calif. The center is named in honor of the late Pierre Cossette and his remarkable contributions to The Recording Academy and the annual GRAMMY Awards telecast. It will provide free and comprehensive orthopedic care to members of the music community who are without medical insurance.
