FedExForum, 191 Beale St., Memphis, Tenn., 4 p.m.On March 19 the Memphis Chapter, together with the GRAMMY Foundation, will present a GRAMMY SoundChecks with GRAMMY-winning artist John Mayer at the FedExForum in Memphis. GRAMMY U members will have the opportunity to watch Mayer perform a soundcheck prior to his concert that evening. The soundcheck will be followed by an intimate question-and-answer session with Mayer where students will learn more about his career, while gaining advice on making career choices of their own.
