Delivery Recommendations for Master Recordings: These recommendations address the question of which technologies and methodologies currently provide for the most reliable storage and future recovery of recorded musical assets.

Digital Audio Workstation Session Guidelines for Music Production: These guidelines establish conventions for the digital equivalent of an analog "track sheet" and greatly improve efficiency during the process of transferring sessions between workstation operators.

Recommendations for Surround Sound Production: This document provides a summary of the current state of the art and a description of current production practices as well as distribution and encoding formats. Also included is a discussion of surround sound mastering considerations, sample rate conversion, down-mixing, and up-mixing.

VI.  To support music and recording education programs and to serve as a bridge between students, educators and the music industry

VII.  To present educational events, seminars and networking opportunities

VIII.  To promote communication and relationships between audio professionals, companies, organizations, and educators to foster community and consensus on critical industry related issues
